The Scottish Wildlife Trust welcome volunteers to join one of our regular work parties at our beautiful Ben Mor Coigach Wildlife Reserve. You can help the Trust to undertake useful tasks which benefit wildlife and people, learn new skills and keep active whilst enjoying the diverse wildlife and dramatic landscape of this special wild place.

What will the day involve?

Get active in the new year by joining us for a day of footpath maintenance along the Postie’s Path. This will involve walking up to 4km on difficult terrain. Meet at 10am at Culnacraig (NC06430 04045)

What should I bring?

  • Warm outdoor clothing including waterproofs
  • Sturdy boots or wellies  – steel toecaps preferred but not essential
  • Gloves – gloves are provided but you may prefer to bring your own
  • Lunch, plenty of snacks and a drink (a flask is recommended in cooler months)

Do I need certain skills?

The Trust will provide training, tools and supervision. You need a reasonable level of fitness because the work is outdoors on difficult terrain. Children are welcome if accompanied by an adult.

How do I join in?
