16th March, 10am—1pm £5 Assynt Leisure Centre This workshop will take you through the process of tapping a Birch tree using some basic tools and equipment. You’ll learn about the health benefits and how to make syrup and wine from birch sap. Footpath Skills Training Day

Come along and learn some footpath building skills on Quinag. Training will be provided by the John Muir Trust’s footpath officer Chris Goodman. Meet at Quinag Carpark Ref: NC233274.
