,

I’m hoping you’ll come along to Old Dornie in Coigach on Wednesday 13th August.  From 10am we’ll be helping nature by cleaning up litter off the shore, and using what we find to make lovely colourful woven litter-art, with the help of Frances Fogg from Ullapool.  Frances lives right on the shore of Loch Broom and delights in making her local beach-cleaning finds into quirky, attractive pieces. She’ll show us how surprisingly easy it is to make lovely things out of rubbish!

We’ll be helped along by the magical storytelling of Jess Smith.  Jess comes from a family rich in the storytelling tradition – I can tell you, just listening to her on the phone is a joy!  Be sure to come along early so you don’t miss out.

We’ll park at the second pier at Old Dornie (you’ll see my CALL logo’d car) and walk south a short distance to the shore.  Hopefully the weather will be kind, but it is August (!) so please bring warm & waterproof clothes and wear good boots. We’ll be there until 1pm. Look forward to seeing you! Viv
