The report on the exchange visit to Romania is now finalised, with input from each of the six participants.  You can download the report plus 4 annexes from the Links and Downloads page. It was a really inspiring visit and already folk here have shown a  lot of interest in the displays we’ve had at the Coigach Gathering and Assynt Games….look out for a variety of spin-off events and presentations where you can learn more about how to start making our own communities more self-sustaining. Why not get involved in setting up a community orchard, or come along to events during the Wild Wood Week in Assynt in September (more on this later), which  culminates in a Woodland Festival at Glencanisp Lodge on 13th.   Reading the report has really inspired me to visit Romania – maybe next year?
