As part of our Sustainable Deer Management project we have just launched a survey to find out if local people eat wild venison (or why they don’t), and if they would like to get some tips about how to cook this healthy, low fat, sustainable, locally available meat. If you live in Coigach or Assynt we’d be delighted if you could help us out by submitting the survey.

If you have a favourite recipe and are willing to share it, we are also looking to compile a booklet of Assynt and Coigach’s top venison recipes. A report of findings from the survey results will be made available in early spring. All completed surveys will be entered into a draw to win a choice of either a venison joint or a veg box.

Here’s the link to the survey. The deadline for submitting your responses is 9am, 31 January.

Many thanks for your help!
